We’re thrilled to share that Perspektiv has once again been recertified by Climate Active as a carbon-neutral organisation, with a 100% certified carbon-neutral service offering. This marks our fourth consecutive year of certification, something we’re incredibly proud of, not just for the effort it takes to maintain, but for what it stands for: a continued commitment to embedding sustainability into everything we do.

Why Climate Active matters
Climate Active is an Australian Government-backed certification standard that measures, reduces, and offsets carbon emissions to achieve carbon neutrality. Recertification isn’t a tick-the-box exercise; it requires us to review our emissions annually, track progress against our decarbonisation targets, and undergo independent validation to ensure that nothing slips through the cracks.
For Perspektiv, this is a valuable opportunity to pause, assess the impact of our activities, and publicly report our progress annually, making sure our day-to-day decisions remain aligned with our long-term goals.
Why we certify our services, not just our organisation
Driven by mandatory climate disclosures, many companies will soon need to report their indirect emissions across the value chain. Organisation-level footprints and net zero commitments aren’t enough to prove product or service-level emissions performance.
That’s why we certify not only our organisation but also our consultancy services under Climate Active’s Carbon Neutral Product and Service Standard. This approach:
Provides a third-party verified GHG assessment
Uses a life cycle approach to measurement
Attributes emissions intensity to a clear functional unit that clients can understand and use

In short, it enables us to make credible, transparent claims about the carbon impact of our services, helping clients claim legitimate reductions in their Scope 3 emissions using verified primary data for selected supplies.
Looking beyond carbon neutrality
While Climate Active is a critical part of our story, it is only one piece of the bigger puzzle. We take a holistic approach by integrating other certifications and frameworks into our sustainability strategy:
Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
Our net zero targets have been validated under the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) pathway, ensuring our emissions reduction ambitions are aligned with climate science to limit warming to 1.5°C. While offsets still play a role in addressing residual emissions, the priority is, and must be, on reducing emissions at the source.
B Corp Certification
Our B Corp Certification addresses the social and governance side of sustainability. It keeps us accountable to our people, clients, and communities by ensuring high standards of ethics, transparency, and social responsibility.
Together, these certifications and commitments give us a comprehensive framework: Climate Active provides accountability today, SBTi guides us toward deep decarbonisation, and B Corp ensures our broader positive impact.
Building a bigger picture
No single certification can capture the full scope of sustainability. That is why we see these frameworks as interconnected tools that collectively strengthen our business and our impact. Maintaining them requires ongoing effort, but it is an effort we believe is worth it, for Perspektiv, our clients, and the communities we serve.
Our Climate Active recertification is an important milestone, but more than that, it’s a reminder of the larger sustainability journey we’re on, embedding accountability and action not only within our operations, but also across the services we deliver to clients.
