With Charlotte Walker making history as Australia’s youngest Senator, the influence of young voices in shaping our future has never been clearer.

On 12 August, Perspektiv was proud to attend the Young Professionals Network | Launch, co-organised by the UN Global Compact Network Australia (UNGCNA) and Intrepid.

As a UNGCNA participant organisation, we share their vision of mobilising a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders to build a better world. We’re committed to advancing the Ten Principles and Sustainable Development Goals, and to acting with the urgency our climate and social challenges demand.

The event brought together nearly 100 young professionals from corporates, legal practices, consultancies, and academia, all united by a shared passion for sustainability. One message stood out: sustainability is not just a cost. When approached strategically, it delivers unique advantages and competitive differentiation, something we’ve consistently demonstrated with our clients.

Speakers also reinforced a critical truth: young voices remain under-represented in decision-making. Platforms like this are vital for fostering collaboration, amplifying diverse perspectives, and sparking meaningful change. At Perspektiv, we know diversity and inclusion are essential to better outcomes, and we actively support continuous learning and upskilling for our people.

A big thank you to UNGCNA and Intrepid for creating a space where ideas, energy, and collaboration converge.
