What a year 2021 has been for us all. Though it brought us more Covid-19 and mounting climate anxiety, we managed to distract ourselves with our work, successfully growing our business, servicing our many and varied clients and enjoying quality time with our colleagues. Looking back on what we have achieved gives us pause to reflect and to be thankful.
Here are some of our highlights from 2021.
1. Grew the team from 10 to 20
One of the most exciting things to happen was the growth of our business. We went from just four people working for Perspektiv two years ago to over twenty people working with us today, with ten new members of staff joining our team in 2021.
2. Opened a new office space in Sydney
We opened up a brand new office space in Sydney, bringing our office location total to three. We also doubled our office space in Perth to make room for our growing team.
3. Serviced new clients
Our customer base and online following also experienced some significant growth, this allowed us to branch out into new markets and reach more people with valuable and engaging information about sustainability.
4. Added to our portfolio
The year 2021 was also a year to celebrate the achievements of our people. The Perspektiv team gained a number of prestigious memberships including; three more IS verifiers, and ten ISCA Accredited Professionals, the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA), Climate Active and the Australian Life Cycle Assessment Society (ALCAS).
5. Held successful team building events
Another highlight was our successful business planning trip to Margaret River, where we came up with our Business Plan Goals / Sustainability Policy. It also helped us to really integrate the team as a whole and increased our creativity and communication.
