This year marks a significant milestone for Perspektiv: our fifth consecutive year of certification as a Climate Active Carbon Neutral Organisation and Carbon Neutral Service Provider. It's a moment we're proud of. But its real significance isn't the anniversary itself, it's what five years of measuring, disclosing and reducing our own emissions can teach the market about a much bigger challenge: getting Scope 3 reporting right.

Since 1 January 2025, Australia's mandatory climate reporting regime has applied to the first cohort of large entities. Now, with the start of FY27, many more organisations are turning their attention to what comes next and whether they are ready. For businesses approaching reporting thresholds, the new financial year presents an opportunity to move beyond awareness and begin building the systems, governance and data needed for effective disclosure.

We’re investing in both the problem and the solution. As the world pushes toward net zero, fossil fuel systems continue to receive significant support, creating growing risks for assets, supply chains, and markets.
